Congratulations on the MacWorld review! I absolutely love MarsEdit and use it exclusively for my blog postings. If I meet someone who owns a Mac and wants to start blogging or try a new approach, MarsEdit is the only app I recommend to them. I am hoping to become an indi Mac developer after I finish my MBA and I dream that my apps will have the same success as MarsEdit!

Hi Joe - what she's experiencing I guess is the fact that omitting <p> tags and just expecting "auto-paragraphing" doesn't work on all systems. Since she didn't identify a particular weblog system she was testing against, it's hard to say.

I can't remember if you already knew, but MarsEdit doesn't yet have any kind of "WYSIWYG" HTML editor like Live Writer does, so everything is plain text, which may include HTML or not depending on the expectations of the particular system.</p>

Congrats! :)

Just curious what the story is with the one "quirk" she pointed out: "it’s still necessary to insert paragraph tags at the beginning of each paragraph, despite the local preview pane showing properly formatted text"?
