		<description>Seth: Really!? That's such great news.  I will have to test that out. Even with the workaround described here I had seen it happening from time to time but now I'll have to tune in and see whether it's truly eliminated.</description>

		<description>Matt: That does the trick for killing the shell, but since I've got Terminal set up to *not* close windows automatically when the shell ends, I have to then manually cmd-W to close the window.  I don't like auto-closing windows.</description>

		<description>I dunno about zsh, but most shells/python/etc can be killed with a Ctrl-D.  I use that to quit Terminal, usually, as it will kill the current process.  Sometimes I have to do it twice, if I'm in a python shell.</description>

		<description>Ehm... uh... yeah :)  I wasn't sure whether to do so or not because zsh is a non-default shell, and ... but you're right, it's shipped as part of the system, and who knows, maybe the underlying problem is affecting more than just zsh. &lt;a&gt;Radar  #4312694&lt;/a&gt;.
