Be nice if there was a hot key for multiple-letter entries; I don't use the mouse much for puzzle solving.

Check under the Edit menu -> "Enter Multiple Letters" ... the shortcut is cmd-opt-m.

Doh. Knew there was a menu entry but never looked at it. Black Ink is very conveniently navigated from the keyboard so i have never looked at the menu choices; just saw that there was one in the Help intro (which doesn't mention cmd-opt-m, btw). Sorry.
