Categories Field for Wordpress.

I'm looking for a keyboard-friendly way to set Categories for new posts: clicking the checkboxes in the Options sidebar isn't too arduous, but I'd love to be able to set up a Categories field at the top and have the names autocomplete, as with tags. Is that possible, somehow? I did wonder whether a custom field called "Categories" might do the job, but it doesn't seem to.

Hi samu - unfortunately it's not possible right now. You can technically retype the whole category in the "New Category" field and press return, and if it already exists it will just check it. But obviously that's a lot of work and doesn't do any autocompletion at the moment.
