    I have purchased and just started using MarsEdit.

    I am having a problem with posting to my Word Press Blog.

    When I post I notice that the formatting changes slightly. For example, a paragraph turns into a div. A paragraph is added, leaving a space I did not want. Why is this happening?

    Also, what is the best link for documentation?

    Hi Bryan - are you editing in HTML mode or in Rich Mode in MarsEdit?

    Generally speaking MarsEdit does not alter the content at all when editing in HTML source mode. In rich mode, things are a little less predictable as some of the work is done by the WebKit technologies from Apple, and it will make what it thinks is appropriate HTML for whatever you're trying to do.

    I'm also curious to find out when the changes to formatting are happening. Is it happening right after you publish the post, or when you start editing an existing one?
