Does MarsEdit work with Drupal 7 without BlogAPI?

Drupal dropped the BlogAPI from the core, and the BlogAPI module isn't updated for D7 yet. However, it looks like some are using ME/D7 with mixed results -- Is there a way to use MarsEdit w/ the default Drupal 7 install?

Hi - I'm sorry to say that I haven't kept up to date with the latest evolutions in Drupal 7. Hopefully somebody who is more knowledgable about Drupal will be able to chime in and let us know. Hopefully if they dropped the "module" it just means they turned the Blogging API into a built-in feature? But somebody will have to confirm for us.
