v2.6 hangs in Tiger?

I think I may updated too far...
After updating to 2.6 the other day, I'm (repeatedly) getting a hanging beachball, after just a few minutes after launching...
Is there a way to downgrade? -
Can I ask what version of Mac OS X you are running? I would like to investigate this hanging beachball problem.
