#clipboard# -- doesn't seem to work under OSX 10.8
  • I use to be able to import from Flicker and have the title (which I had copied to the clipboard) apply as the alt and title tags. Laptop finally melted down and I'm on the newest system and I can't seem to get it to work again. Tips, anyone?

    this is what I'm using so far:

    #clipboard#

  • Weird. I pasted the full code and all I see in the browser is #clipboard#. I'm obviously in over my head ;)

    Hi - sorry the forum is TERRIBLE for pasting HTML-style text.... here is the original content you posted:

    <img style=\"display:block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto;\" src=\"#fileurl#\" alt=\"#clipboard#\" title=\"#clipboard#\" class=\"fullsize\" border=\"0\" width=\"#imgwidth#\" height=\"#imgheight#\" />

    I'm curious about these "#clipboard#" instances ... I don't think this is someting I've ever supported in MarsEdit. Do you think that this exact macro worked before? Or were you rewriting it from memory on 10.8?

    I suspect you want to use either #pastetext# or #pasteurl# ... does one of those work better? Off the top of my head I can't remember if these are actually intended to work in the Media macros, but since you said it worked before I wonder if one of these shortcuts is what you were using?

  • Will try #pastetext# -- copied my macros over before switching machines so no idea how it could have shifted. Probably a screwup on my end ;)
  • that did it -- thanks so much. Sped up my production time by quite a bit :)
  • Great to hear that it's working again!
