Litzed puzzles
  • Hello to all,

As the new guy here I just wanted to take a second to say how much I've enjoyed this program already. I also wondered if anyone else shared the obsession of converting puzzles to be solved with Black Ink or Across Lite. I have converted roughly 200-300 puzzles to date. Was wondering if anyone else had any that they might like to swap. I don't think this is a copyright infringement (at least I hope not). I have sent Litzed puzzles to some of my favorite constructors as a way of saying thanks for all their hard work.

If anyone might be interested in a swap please reply and let's see what we can do. I'd also like to take a minute to thank Daniel for the wonderful program. I am a recent convert to the Mac and will NEVER go back to a PC.

    Thanks for listening, Joe
  • Hi Joe - check out this thread from Ephraim:

He got really into the idea of converting arbitrary PDF to Across Lite format. Might be somebody to talk to!

Glad you are enjoying Black Ink!

    Daniel
  • Here is an example of a puzzle that I solved from Trip Payne's "Crosswords To Strain Your Brain" and converted it to be opened by Black Ink or Across Lite.
A link to the file is http://rapidshare.com/files/159251617/Off_To_A_Great_Start.puz.html

Hope this better demonstrates what I'm talking about.
  • I just litzed another crossword I thought some of you might enjoy. It's by Trip Payne and it's called "Something Different". Please refer to the "Show Puzzle Notes" under the View menu in Black Ink for an in depth explanation on how to solve this amazingly wide open crossword.

Enjoy the puzzle and I look forward to any comments, Joe
