Any plans to support Posterous?

Hi - I am hoping that Posterous will implement support for one of the standard blogging APIs that MarsEdit supports. They have indicated that this is something they want to do, but I don't know what their schedule is for doing it.

If they don't do it soon, I may look into implementing support via their custom API, but since that is a considerable amount of work, I'm hoping they will adopt one of the standard APIs.

Hi Daniel. Just noting another +1 for posterous. I agree, though, that it's a shame they had to invent Yet Another Blogging API. Details at http://posterous.com/api/posting, as I'm sure you already know. FWIW, I also poked them to say they should support the existing APIs from their end. That they don't seems the opposite of their "keep it simple" approach to things.
