Hi Mike - assuming I'm understanding your question, yes! That's the major advantage of MarsEdit, is being able to compose your posts from your desktop, with or without an internet connection. When you're ready to go live ... just "send to weblog" from MarsEdit and it will show up on your blog.
I suggest downloading and giving it a spin. It's really easy to get started with most Blogger blogs. If you have an older blog and your custom template has not been updated for the new Blogger updates, you might run into a little trouble, in which case be sure to check here:
I'm trying to use Google's Blogger right now and the posting works great, but should I expect the image upload feature to work as well? The specific error I get is "Can’t upload file for Snow Den because the server reported an error: No such user." Any ideas?
Sorry about that - this should probably become a FAQ, or maybe something I build in a note about in the app itself.
Google Blogger doesn't provide a facility for uploading images, so to work around this MarsEdit attempts to upload to your Google Picasa account. But unfortunately, Google requires that you have already signed up for it, or else your login just doesn't work. If you sign up for an account:
Use your same Google account as your Blogger blog. And then everything should "just work."
